Fashion. Practical. Affordable.
Glasses perform many different functions, but most importantly – clear and comfortable vision
We also want our glasses to be:
Fashionable – to reflect individual personality and character
Practical – there are specialty lenses available for specific tasks
Affordable – providing everyone the opportunity for clear vision
Over 1000 frames available.
With over 1000 frames available in our frame gallery, we are confident that we can find the perfect pair of glasses for you. We have at least two to three frame company representatives updating our frame displays monthly. If you have a particular frame in mind, let us know and we will see if we can access it for you.
Choosing lenses for your glasses can be overwhelming with all the new advanced options that are available.
Indicating to the doctors and staff what your occupation and hobbies are (eg. long hours on screens, a lot of outdoor exposure) will help our staff members determine the best option based on not only your prescription but also your use of the glasses.
The doctors and staff are trained in lens technology and frame fashions to ensure we recommend the best and most appropriate products for our patients’ needs.
Our highest priority is your satisfaction.
With any product, there can be substantial differences in quality of materials. Here at Wheildon MacKenzie Optometry, we select high quality frames and lenses to ensure outstanding performance and durability.
Our highest priority is your satisfaction with your eyeglasses. That is why all of our frames and lenses carry a one year warranty on manufacturer’s defects.
We have an on-site optical laboratory which allows for the final process of edging, tinting and mounting your lenses into your frame. This offers the patient prompt service in preparing your glasses and convenience for those patients wishing to use their current frame.
You will find that the high quality products available at Wheildon MacKenzie Optometry are competitively priced. We do offer promotions on multiple pairs and discounts for family members. Having an idea of your budget and third party insurance coverage is always beneficial to us to help you meet your expectations in purchasing your eyewear.
Frame Tracer
Traces the frame shape in order to communicate information with the lens edger.
Lens Edger
Cuts down the lens blanks to the shape that the frame tracer supplied it, so that the lenses fit into the frame.
Lensometer
The lab technician initially uses to verify the correct orientation of the lens for edging and finally verifies that the prescription is correct once the glasses are assembled.
